Adult Only Camping and Glamping
Come and experience the beauty and tranquillity of our adult only glamping and camping caravan site set in the beautiful Leicestershire countryside at Barford Top Campsite which is also situated on the Leicestershire Round Historical Walking Route and is close by the National Cycle Network Route 6.
We are a small, friendly, family run Adult Only touring park and campsite nestled among the beautiful rolling hills of the Leicestershire countryside.
The peace and tranquillity is broken only by the sound of birdsong, the occasional bleat of a lamb or you might hear a gaggle of geese on the wing.
“Absolutely Spectacular ”
If there was a possibility to rate more than 5 out of 5 stars, I would in a heartbeat. Barford Top Campsite is quite honestly the best establishment I have visited. As an avid camper since my childhood, I am more than accustomed to a night under the stars, and I cannot rate this site highly enough.
Me and my partner are already making plans to return later in summer to accommodate either the Bell Tent, or one of the beautiful Shepard’s Hut joint owner Morris has beautifully created himself.
Wendy was the most hospitable and kind host, nothing at all was too much trouble, and for a group of 9 noisy young adults, she was more than happy to take us in.
There are a variety of things to do in and around the area, and as a group our only regret is that we only stayed one night! The ‘Wild Camping’ was beautiful, the view to die for, and a sunset at Barford Top Campsite is something everyone should see.
I am still quite utterly taken aback by how beautiful the campsite was, and just how lovely Wendy and Morris were. It was like visiting family.
We cannot wait to come again, we have found a little piece of paradise only an hour from home. Absolutely spectacular
